About Dr Suzanne O’ Brien

Dr Suzanne O’ Brien is a neuroscientist and GHR-registered hypnotherapist, with doctoral and master’s training in neuroscience, and a undergraduate degree in psychology. Her research explored the brain’s ability to adapt and change in response to experience. This perspective underpins her work, whether she is delivering workshops or working one-to-one with clients.

Her research interests have also included women’s mental health and early childhood development. Suzanne previously served as Vice-President and board member of the Marcé Society (UK and Ireland), an organisation dedicated to supporting mental health during pregnancy and the postnatal period.

At the heart of her work is a simple aim: to translate complex neuroscience into grounded, practical insights that feel relevant to real life, and that people can actually use. Within hypnotherapy, his means working with the brain’s natural capacity for change, learning and emotional processing, creating a structured and collaborative space for meaningful change to occur.
