Dr Suzanne O’ Brien - PhD Neuroscientist and Clinical Hypnotherapist

UK & Ireland

What We Do

Whole Brain Collective works with individuals ready to do something about what's holding them back - using hypnotherapy and evidence-based approaches grounded in neuroscience to create real, lasting change. The same scientific thinking underpins our work with organisations, where research-led workshops and programmes support employee wellbeing, learning, and sustainable performance.

For Organisations

Whole Brain Collective delivers neuroscience-informed talks and workshops designed to support employee wellbeing, focus, inclusion, decision-making and performance. Formats range from standalone talks, webinars to interactive leadership workshops.

For Individuals

Private one-to-one hypnotherapy grounded in neuroscience, for people who feel stuck in patterns they can’t think their way out of; anxiety, self-doubt, stress, or simply a version of themselves they’re ready to move past.

About Dr Suzanne O’ Brien

Dr Suzanne O’ Brien is a neuroscientist and GHR-registered hypnotherapist, with doctoral and master’s training in neuroscience, and a undergraduate degree in psychology. Her research explored the brain’s ability to adapt and change in response to experience. This perspective underpins her work, whether she is delivering workshops or working one-to-one with clients.

Her research interests have also included women’s mental health and early childhood development. Suzanne previously served as Vice-President and board member of the Marcé Society (UK and Ireland), an organisation dedicated to supporting mental health during pregnancy and the postnatal period.

At the heart of her work is a simple aim: to translate complex neuroscience into grounded, practical insights that feel relevant to real life, and that people can actually use. Within hypnotherapy, this means working with the brain’s natural capacity for change, learning and emotional processing, creating a structured and collaborative space for meaningful change to occur.

  • Neurodiversity at Work
