Whole Brain Collective

Neuroscience Consultancy, Services and Practice

Practical, research-led workshops that support focus, decision-making, inclusion, and sustainable performance at work.

What We Do

For Organisations

Whole Brain Collective delivers neuroscience-informed talks and workshops for organisations seeking to support employee wellbeing, learning, and performance. These are suitable for wellbeing weeks, staff development days, leadership training, and wider learning and development programmes.

Formats range from standalone talks or interactive workshops, depending on organisational needs.

For Individuals

I also offer private, neuroscience-informed hypnotherapy for individuals, with a focus on nervous system regulation, mindset, and support during key life transitions.

About

I’m Dr Suzanne O’Brien, a neuroscientist and qualified hypnotherapist with doctoral and master’s training in neuroscience, and an academic background in psychology. My research explored neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to adapt and change in response to experience. This perspective shapes everything I do, whether I’m delivering a leadership workshop or working one to one with a client.

Alongside this, my research interests have included perinatal mental health and early childhood development. I previously served as Vice President and board member of the Marcé Society (UK and Ireland), an organisation dedicated to supporting research and understanding around mental health during pregnancy and the postnatal period.

At the heart of my work is a simple aim: to translate complex neuroscience into grounded, practical insights that feel relevant to real life, and that people can actually use.

Core Workshop Topics

  • Neurodiversity at Work

  • Focus, Flow and Burnout

  • Leadership and Decision-Making Under Pressure

  • Habit Formation and Neuroplasticity

  • How the Brain Learns: Memory and Skill Development

Private 1:1 work

Alongside my corporate work, I offer private hypnotherapy sessions grounded in neuroscience and nervous system regulation. Sessions focus on mindset, stress, confidence, and support during key life transitions.
